The infrared thermometer with thermocouple probe raises the bar in the field of food inspection products, combining technology to provide quick and accurate, internal and external temperature readings of objects. The infrared thermometer features a built-in stainless steel K-type thermocouple probe that folds into the side of the instrument when not in use. It has the features and specifications to meet tough application requirements of commercial, process measurement and control, and food manufacturing environments where critical inspections for food safety are demanded.
Highly Accurate, Fast One Second, Internal and External Surface Readings
The instant-read infrared thermometer conforms to HACCP accuracy within +- 1.8°F from 32° to 150°F for infrared accuracy and +-0.9°F (0.5°C) probe accuracy. It features food safety temperature "warning" LEDs that clearly indicate whether food temperature is within an unsafe range 4°C to 65°C (40° to 149°F) or within a safe temperature range. The infrared temperature range is -67° to 572°F (-55° to 250°C) and the probe temperature range is -67° to 626°F (-55° to 330°C). It has an LCD digital display with a 0.5°F resolution for accurate readings. It requires 2 x AAA batteries (included), typically providing 40 hours of continuous operation for IR (100 hours for probe). It has a pre-set emissivity to 0.97 and a 2.5:1 distance-to-spot size ratio.
